Gortin Glen Forest Park
Gortin Glen Forest ParkDescription: Three trails of varying lengths; the Nature, Pollan and Ladies View, that all start from the main car park. They each give the visitor the opportunity to enjoy the Park's natural flora and fauna at its best. All trails are colour coded and return to the main car park.

Altahullion Wind Farm
Altahullion Wind FarmDescription: This short walk along a quarry dust path provides panoramic views over the Roe Valley and south to the high Sperrins and also an opportunity to see one of Ireland's largest wind farms.

Interpretation signage on the turbine and landscape are on-site. Please note that access is permitted to the first turbine only.

Ballyronan Wood
Description: A beautiful walk through a small 5 acre wet woodland on the shores of Lough Neagh. The area boasts a wealth of wildlife easily viewed from the woodland path, such as mute swan, whooper swan, bewick swan, great crested grebes and tufted duck.

Other facilities include a picnic site, caravan and camping, marina, childrens play area and toilets.

Boyd's Riverside Walk
Description: Beginning in the village of Burnfoot this circular walk follows the course of the Bovevagh River for a short distance until it meets the River Roe. Following the bank of the Roe as it progresses downstream before returning to Burnfoot via a farm lane and quiet country road.

Cot Lane
Description: The Cot Lane is a Public Right of Way within Cookstown District. It is a countryside lane of approximately 1 mile linking the parishes of Ballinderry and Ardboe. It also links the counties of Tyrone and Londonderry, over the River Ballinderry via the Cot Lane Bridge. This is a listed pedestrian bridge and of architectural interest.

Gort Moss
Description: A linear walk of 5 miles along old moss roads and between leafy hedgerows close to the village of Ardboe. Passing Kinturk Cultural Centre and Coyle's Cottage — a traditional fisherman's cottage, made of mud, clay and wood, thatched with reeds.

Gortin Lakes
Gortin LakesDescription: A circular walk around two of the 'kettle-hole' lakes on the northern slope of Mullaghcarn. This path has opened access to previously hidden views of the high Sperrins mountain landscape. The Boorin Nature Reserve is also close by. (Toilets, parking and picnic facilities on site)

Inneval Railway Walk
Description: Is a short walk just over 1 mile through lowland countryside comprising of a moss and an old railway embankment. Located 3 mile from Stewartstown the moss is home to local wildlife such as snipe, grey heron, mink and otters.

Description: The Forest Service has developed a path (not waymarked but easy to follow) that takes the visitor from the waterworks down to the shore and back through the forest.

Loughmacrory TrialDescription: A circular walkway around Loughmacrory guides you through coniferous woodland with excellent views of the lough. Catch a glimpse of a damselfly or have a go at fishing on the lough.

Description: Having been a settlement for over 400 years, Moneymore's historic past can still be identified in a range of important architectural buildings which hide behind the busy village of today. This trail will attempt to give a flavour of Moneymore's rich cultural past by returning back to the origins of this interesting and beautiful village.

Roe Valley Country Park
Rue Valley Country ParkDescription: The park offers two main circular riverside routes, amidst spectacular scenery, at either 3km or 7km distance.

The 3km Northern route provides an opportunity to visit O Cahan's Rock, the Deer Park, Corn Store, the Wet Wood and several bridges over the River Roe whilst the 7km Southern walk takes in the Carrick Rocks footbridge and relics of the linen industry.

The two routes can be combined for a longer walk. Visitor centre, museum (open seasonally), toilets and duck pond all on site.

Sloughan Glen
Sloughan GlenDescription: This secluded riverside walk through a deciduous forest is signposted from the town of Drumquin. The waterfall that cascades from the uplands can be seen at its best after a heavy spell of rainfall. (Parking and picnic facilities on site)

Tannyranny Trail
Tannyranny TrialDescription: A short trail at Gelvin, just off the B64 Dungiven/Garvagh road, climbs the lower northern slopes of Benbradagh for a short distance to the site of Tannyranny Church. Panoramic views over the Roe Valley, Lough Foyle, Sperrins and beyond all in the shadow of Benbradagh.

The Mourne Riverside Walk, Sion Mills
Description: Sion Mills plentiful water resource — The River Mourne- which once powered the village's flax industry now provides the centre piece for an idyllic riverside haven, incorporating excellent angling facilities and the Mourneside Walk.

The walk features the popular Bearney footbridge known locally as the 'Swinging Bridge', and an attractive weir which the Salmon cross on their migration upstream to the Strule, Derg, Owenkillew and Glenelly Rivers.
